HOW TO:

Reheat

Oven Method (Best Texture):

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Lightly sprinkle or brush the focaccia with a few drops of water or olive oil.

  3. Wrap loosely in foil (for soft texture) or leave uncovered (for crispy edges).

  4. Heat for 8–10 minutes (5–6 minutes if already thawed).

  5. Let sit for 1–2 minutes before serving.

  • Toaster Oven: Use the same method as above—ideal for small portions.

  • Skillet Method (Quick & Crispy):
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low. Place a slice in the pan for 2–3 minutes per side until warmed and lightly crisped.

  • Avoid the Microwave: It can make focaccia rubbery or soggy. If necessary, use short bursts and eat immediately.

Storage instruction

  • Same-Day Enjoyment: If you plan to eat the focaccia the same day, keep it at room temperature in a paper bag or wrapped loosely in a clean kitchen towel. This helps maintain its crisp exterior.

  • Next-Day or Short-Term Storage (1–2 days):
Wrap the focaccia in parchment or wax paper and place it in a sealed paper bag or bread box. Avoid plastic if possible, as it softens the crust.

  • Longer-Term Storage (up to 1 month):
Slice the focaccia into portions, wrap each piece tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place in a freezer-safe bag or container.
To thaw, remove from the freezer and let sit at room temperature for 1–2 hours before reheating
